Ocean Rest B and B is located on scenic and peaceful Quadra Island. We are a quiet, enjoy nature and its wonders home.
The east veranda offers a panoramic ocean view of the Strait of Georgia, Cortes Island, Read Island and the mountains of mainland BC. Watch eagles, small birds, and even the occasional whale. Many days you can see the seals playing in the water. Watch the Cortes ferry cross the channel. Artists will enjoy painting the scenery.
Walk down to the beach and explore the tidal pools or just lean up against the driftwood and read a book in the sunshine. Pick up driftwood and create a creature - your imagination is the limit. The beach is a five minute walk east. There is also an historical walking trail at the end of Wa Wa Kie Road.
Wonder in the garden and enjoy the flowers. Pick blackberries when in season.
Enjoy a massage at the health studio across the road.
The main house offers the master bedroom with a private French door to walk out onto the veranda. It has a comfy queen sized bed with handmade quilt and oversized ocean facing armchair. Shared bath with large, jets soaker tub. Enjoy a fire in the stone fireplace. Full breakfast. Cat in residence.
The guest cabin sleeps six with a double bed and two sets of bunk beds. It has a private deck and large picture window, both offer an ocean view. Enjoy your deck or relax on the front veranda. On a cool evening you can light a fire in the wood burning stove. Full breakfast.
The studio is attached to the guest cabin. It has lots of room for the artist in everyone. It has a west facing window.
The veranda is perfect to host a small wedding and catering for 30 is available. Prices and amenities offered available on request.
Pets are welcome.
Price, Terms & Payment:
Main house: $80 first person/per night, $15 for second person/per night
Cabin: $130 per night, maximum number of adults is 4, (double bed, two sets of bunks)
Studio: $10/day with room rental
Private functions: fees available on request
From April 1st to September 15th the minimum stay is two nights.
